What does Haydn, who died 200 years ago, have in common with Poulenc, Hindemith, and Bartók, three 20th century composers?  Come find out what unites these composers when Queen City Virtuosi, Charlotte’s first professional chamber orchestra, presents its debut concert, “An Ideal Evening.”  (If possible, follow this format for listing the repertoire, so it is off-set from the description.)

Sinfonia No. 85 “La Reine” - Haydn

Mouvements Perpetuels - Poulenc

Five Pieces for String Orchestra - Hindemith

Divertimento for String Orchestra – Bartók

The concert will include a 15 minute intermission with full beverage service in the Atrium.  Service begins at 7:00 p.m., so arrive early and relax before the concert.
